Baccus 6mm Sudan

Here are a few photos to show progress on a small project. The Sword and the Flame in the Sudan with 6mm but still using 20 man units based on stands of 5 figures each. There will be four 1 ft square tiles that will give a 2x2 foot board and can be shuffled to allow variation.   I haven't worked out all the details yet but I think of it more like a kids playset at this point.  I need to paint a bunch more natives but I'm happy with the look so far. It must be the heat that's got me thinking Sudan again.

Aeronef: better late than never

I knew it had been a long time since I bought my Aeronef. I didn't quite know how long until I found a post I wrote on TMP in October 2005!  I did actually paint some back then but just a few  and went on to buy a French fleet and German fleet as well.  The recent start of a facebook page for Aeronef, Les Guerres Extraordinaires, got me thinking about how much I still love the minis. After a short trip to the attic I had my fleets in hand and picked up where I left off 8 years ago.

War Times Journal 1/3000 Russo Japanese War Ships

I've wanted to paint some of these ships by War Times Journal for years. I finally bought just a few Japanese and Russian ships to paint up. These are really beautiful models. I did the insane thing and added masts which really finishes them off nicely but it took alot of time. The masts are really fragile and would probably not hold up well under gaming, but sadly I rarely actually game these days so they should be fine! Very highly recommended! Pendraken 10mm Masai

I painted these 10mm Masai warriors for the 2013 Pendraken Painting Contest.
